A small Family winery, that is specialized on the production of high Quality, Cyprus wine. Our winery is located at Kyperounta village in Pitsilia region in Cyprus, which is the most famous wine region in the island.
The vineyards of the village of Kyperounta are at a higher altitude than any other vineyards in Cyprus and, in fact, in the whole Europe. The vines are planted on the steep and inhospitable terraced hillsides of Madari, the second highest mountain of the Troodos range. The terraces are built out of uncut local stone without the use of cement or other building materials, and from a distance, they present an amphitheatric view. The traditional local varieties of Cipro Nero locally known as Mavro and Cipro Bianco locally known as Xynisteri, have been growing for centuries on these hard to access hillsides that rise to a height of 1500 metres.
